Bill, owner: Our Bay Area home remodeling and custom homebuilding company began with Bill. After attending business school, he followed his father's footsteps with a 4-year carpentry training to become a Journeyman Carpenter. For several years as a carpenter and foreman, he built luxury hillside homes. In 1987, Bill obtained his contractor's license and started his own company with a fine team of construction professionals. Bill enjoys being a dad which has led to new hobbies such as O-scale trains. An ardent baseball fan, Bill has taken his leadership skills to the ballfield and coaches Los Altos-Mountain View PONY Baseball. (More information about Bill Fry General Contractor). |

Jim, project manager and cabinetry specialist: Jim is almost a Bay Area native, having moved here at age 12. Bill and Jim began their professional relationship over 20 years ago when Bill commissioned custom cabinets from Jim’s cabinetry shop. Jim expanded his knowledge into home construction by earning a contractor's license, building foundations, and framing homes. He also worked as a project manager for Bay Area luxury home builders. His talents are now fully realized as he provides exclusive cabinetry solutions and manages interior finishes for Bill Fry Construction.
Every year, Jim enjoys leading teams of local students to build homes for needy families. |

Max, carpenter: Fascinated by construction as a boy, Max’s dream came true when he became an apprentice carpenter right after high school graduation in Oregon. In 1984, he moved to the Bay Area to pursue a career in framing with his two older brothers. By 1990, he was working with Bill on the construction of a luxury custom estate home in Atherton. He has since added fine finish carpentry to his list of formidable skills. Our long-time clients frequently ask whether Max is still working for the company and we’re always delighted to say yes! Max has two daughters and enjoys organic gardening and the great outdoors with his home-built canoe. |
